Lignetics premium quality wood pellets are PFI (Pellet Fuels Institute) Certified Premium Grade Pellet Fuel and made from a proprietary blend of 90% hardwood and 10% softwood. Manufactured with the highest quality controls to produce a 3 to 5% moisture content pellet with 8000 to 8300 BTU/Lb. (British thermal unit) output and 0.4 to 0.6% ash content for a hotter, more efficient burn and less waste. Density greater than 40 Lb./Cu. Ft. (Pound/Cubic Foot)

Available only at our Lee Location, Maine pellets contain less than 1% Ash, Less than .5% Fines and Less than 8% Moisture. Maine Wood Pellet Company pre-screens their wood before processing it and they use no debris or additives of any kind. Many pellet manufacturers will use vegetable or soybean oil and some even use plastics. Their pellets are made with 100% wood - no additives, no oils, no plastics, no polystyrene. Do the right thing. Save the environment and burn pellets not oil.
